This policy explains how TOM-CAR processes personal data of people using the website and inquiry form.

In the form, we process your first name, e-mail address, optional phone number and the details you provide about a vehicle conversion, sandwich panels or a food trailer, together with your message.
When the form is submitted, we also use the IP address solely to limit abuse and spam. The attempt counter is stored for 1 hour.
We use your data to handle your inquiry, contact you, prepare an offer and take steps before entering into a contract at your request.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. To protect the form from abuse, handle correspondence and defend claims, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, the controller’s legitimate interest.
To submit the form, you need to provide your first name, e-mail address, the details required for the selected inquiry type and confirm that you have read this privacy policy.
Your phone number is optional. It may make contact easier and faster.
Your data may be received only by providers supporting us technically to the extent necessary to operate the site and handle inquiries, including LH.pl as the hosting provider, the e-mail mailbox provider and an IT service provider if one is engaged.
We do not sell your data and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We keep inquiry data that does not result in an agreement for 12 months after the correspondence ends, unless deleting it earlier is justified.
If an agreement is concluded, we retain the data for the duration of performance and then for the period required by law or needed to establish, pursue or defend claims. Tax documentation is retained for the period required by law.
You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, object to processing and, where applicable, request data portability.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that your data is processed unlawfully.
The site does not use analytics or advertising tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, and it does not use marketing cookies. Your light or dark theme preference is stored locally in browser storage to retain the selected appearance.
The site loads the Montserrat font from Google Fonts. Google may receive technical data, including an IP address, through that connection. The Google Maps link is a standard link; a map is not embedded and opens only after you click it.
Because Google Fonts is used, technical data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Any transfer takes place under the rules and safeguards used by the service provider.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing and we do not profile you based on form data.
